What is recorded
For each page view: the page, the site that linked here, any campaign tags in the link, your country, and whether you are on a phone, tablet or desktop and in which browser family. For what you do on a page: whether you used the playable device, for how long, and whether you clicked a buy button.
What is not recorded
- No cookies. The only thing kept in your browser is your choice of light or dark, if you make one, and it never leaves your browser.
- No IP address. It is combined with a random value that changes every day to make an anonymous number, so two page views on the same day can be counted as one visitor. The address itself is never written down, and the number cannot be traced back to you or linked across days.
- No name, no email, no account.
- The pattern you make on the playable device stays in your browser.
Who else is involved
The site is served by Cloudflare, which also measures how fast pages load, again without cookies. Purchases happen on Gumroad, which has its own privacy policy and handles your payment and email address; marm audio sees the sale and the email you bought with. If you write to us, we have your email and what you wrote.
